The 2015 vintage started with a traditionally wet winter, mild spring and excellent fruit set. The mild and dry Spring led into a mild, dry summer with no disease, resulting in fruit with high natural acidity, incredible flavour and depth of colour. The dry start to January didn’t last long, with the heavy rains helping to make January the coolest one in 11 years. The mild weather continued from February to April, providing a fairy tale vintage. The 2015 vintage is on track to produce stunning signature whites from the Adelaide Hills and Finniss, that show extraordinary flavour, purity of fruit and acid balance, and excellent potential for ageing.
